Membership
Membership is by annual subscription. Individuals
pay the current rate of £12 (unwaged adults and
under 18s pay £8; 2 or more people from same address
£18) to support the work of the Society and they receive periodical newsletters giving full details of meetings, news and activities. The Society's honorary Fellowship, its highest award, may be conferred upon an individual for outstanding services to the language.
